I've already bought and downloaded minecraft on my computer, i've only ever had the pocket edition on my tablet so i don't know how to play minecraft. Can you explain to me how to do things? And what are some tips and tricks? I'm completely i've already learned how to walk and jump and how to access my inventory and all but how do i do everything else?

Under the about minecraft box there's a Gameplay box this is where you can find all the info. I underlined the box in this screenshot
- It will explain the game modes and how they are different.
- the crafting recipes to craft things and what items make other items.
- Tutorials on how to do certain things as well as new player guides.

Sprint by double tapping W
when you are in a chest hold SHIFT and click on the items you want to go to your inventory.
when you are sprinting hold down W to run faster
press Q to dispose of items
press SHIFT to sneak
press F5 (or fn+f5 for mac) to view your player
press F2 to take a screenshot
T to chat
and like Nightsanity said, go to the minecraft wiki.
