I have been trying to grow trees on minecraft pe but I have no idea how to. I get my hoe, than put my sapling on the dirt and i have been waiting for like a week ( in game days) for my tree to grow but it still does not grow. My version is 0.81 and I have no idea how to grow trees. The bonemeal doesn't give any trees, it only gives you grass, fern and flowers… Please help because I need some trees…

Easy. But you'll need a Sapling. I'll tell you 2 ways of getting them.
1. Break all of a trees wood. If you wait for a while, the leaves will start disappearing. Some leaves will drop Saplings.
2. If you don't wanna break wood, just break the leaves from the tree. Remember, not All leaves will drop a Sapling.
After getting a Sapling, simply find a place on the ground and touch it. You then shall see the Sapling on the ground.
NOTE: You can't plant Saplings on any other thing except dirt.
Bone Meal DOES NOT give you Saplings. Bone Meal makes the tree grow instantly!

Use the bone meal on the tree sapling. Also, you need GRASS for it to grow automatically.
