How to do portals on Creative PE of Minecraft?

I've been seeing that you can make portals on Minecraft. But how can I do it on Pocket Edition Creative Mode? Please explain in a detailed way.

Current update, you can't make a portal, because you need to hit it with a iron sword, you can't hit with it in creative, and you can't switch creative to survival.
