Please someone help me, the only thing my son asked for this year for his birthday was the Minecraft mod witchery. I've looked literally all over the internet and I can't find out how to download it. His birthday is in a week. Please help me.
P.S. If it helps we have a mac and he has version 1.8.8 of Minecraft. Thank you for helping he will really appreciate it.

Sorry to say but you won't have that mod for 1.8 for a long time, it currently only goes up to 1.7.10.
You're best off downloading a mod pack loader such as ATlauncher - https://www.atlauncher.com/
From there you download a pack called The Crack Pack (located on the launcher) run it and you will have many mods as well as Witchery. If he only wants Witchery then he can just ignore the other mods.
