I bet most of you have played minecraft.
And I've got this case - I have an awesome world in 1.7.2 with tons of mods, and it took me so long to make it. But I want to install some mods for it that are compatible with newer versions. So can I install them on an old version, and if I can - HOW?!

Well sadly you can't old update stays old + its old seeds. Minecraft for phone is terrible they took 2 fun things away fishing rods+ creating a nether portal to hell. Good luck! Try. It with code seeds and run the mods on newgame.
