Hi i'm a bit.of a noob to pc minecraft and i wondered if there were any mods that DON't require forge, itbis. My dads pc and i don't want to download it because it is apparently a threat, thanks!

Well mod stands for modification, so you can't get a mod without downloading something. But i LOVE resource packs. Look up realistic resource packs. My fav is R3D. Look up tutorials on how to install them. Its only one download. It comes in a zip file. You can also get scanners for downloads to see if its safe to download or not.
