How to install mods for Minecraft? - 1

You need to go to minecraftforge.com and find it for Minecraft 1.4.7. Make sure it's for 1.4.7, then click the Adfly link (to support the maker). Skip the ads and click the yellow download button. You'll want to move Minecraft Forge to your desktop. Then you need to install WinRAR or another file unzipper. There are tutorials for that on YouTube. Go into your computer's search bar and type in %appdata%. Open the folder labeled Roaming, then.minecraft, then bin. Right click your minecraft.jar and open with your file unzipper. Delete the META-INF in minecraft.jar. Now you need to right-click Minecraft Forge and open with your file unzipper. Copy all of the files within into your minecraft.jar. Close both unzipper windows and open up your Minecraft. You need to do that before you install any mods. It will run a box that says setting up your minecraft environment, just wait for that to finish. If you installed Forge correctly, it should have a box for mods next to the one for texture packs.

Now for the easy part. You need to go to http://www.skydaz.com/atmosmobs-mod-installer-for-minecraft-1-4-7/ and use the.zip or.exe link. All you need to do then is double-click the installer and click the Install Mod button. The mod should install and you can use it in Minecraft.
