How to change point of view in minecraft for 1.6.4?

I'm in 1.6.4 because i have a bunch of mods and stuff, anyways i've tried F5 but it won't work. It may because i have a windows 8 laptop. Any help?

Your should have a "FN" button on your keyboard. Try to hold that while you click f5.
