Okay, so I'm trying to download minecraft mods onto my USB. I thought I got mods onto my USB but for some reason when I plug my USB into my PS3 it says that there's no saved data. Maybe I didn't put the mods on the USB correctly or something? So, I would appreciate if someone could take me step by step on downloading mods onto my USB and then onto my PS3.
Ps. I've watched tons of videos online and they haven't helped at all.
PS3s don't accept mods.
For one, they're not designed to work with console versions of the game. Second, the PS3 doesn;t allow any game files (saves, games, anything) to be loaded from a USB.
The ONLY way to get mods on the PS3 version of Minecraft is to have a jailbreak and even then the mods suck as they're just things like making zombies huge or small.
The mods you've downloaded are most likely PC mods which will NOT work as they're coded in Java and the PS3 version is coded in Objective-C.
So unless you want to downgrade your PS3 by buying several expensive items and soldering an E3 flasher to your PS3's motherboard, then mods just will not work. And it isn't worth it anyway because A: the mods suck on console and B: you can't connect to PSN as you will be banned for having a modded console.
