Can I install Direct X on this video card?

I have this stupid video card that can't play even the simplest games in full FPS (ex. Minecraft)
I really want to get Garry's Mod which requires Direct x 11 or something. I checked if Garry's Mod is compatible with this pc and it said I meet all requirements except my video card is the problem and it doesn't support direct x.

Any suggestion? Please Help!

Thats not your video card thats your chip set
your video card is an intel hd 4000

its garbage its not suited to video gaming but it does support direct x 11

if you have windows 7 you already have direct x 11 installed
comes with the OS
