Ok I'll make it as short as possible. I want a LAPTOP NO MORE THAN $500 that can run games like Assassin's Creed 2 or GTA IV at LOW or Medium settings without lag or barely any lag. Also if it can run Cod 4 through Black Ops 2 and the Halos that would be good too. Finally, I'm mainly planning to use this computer for school work(Microsoft Office), making beats(FL Studio & Audacity), Surfing the web(Youtube, gmail, etc.), Light video and picture editing(nothing too hardcore or big projects), and light gaming(GTA SA w/mods, Minecraft MAYBE, and GTA IV is the most hardcore game I will use if I can, oh and I will also play N64 and NGC emulators.) I also want the laptop to have at LEAST 4gb(500gb). Please GIVE/NAME ME LAPTOPS THAT I SHOULD CHECK OUT THAT MEET All OR MOST OF THE REQUIREMTS I'm ASKING FOR, Thank you AND SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.
Any cheap LIGHT-MEDIUM gaming laptops?
Halo isn't for pc 0.0. And you probably can't get a laptop with a good processor that will do video editing and audio editing etc. And also play the games as you wanted for 500 bucks. In no way is this a gaming pc, but the intel core i3 should meet all your editing needs and its integrated intel graphics 4000 should run pretty old game fine on low-high.,. And maybe maybe play some recent games. Its probably the best mixture of everything you want in a laptop.

Get the Asus K55N-DS81. Amazon is your best bet. I have this computer and it can run Skyrim on high settings, no lag. I searched for months, and this laptop is your absolute best bang for the buck. This is better than all of the computers suggested by the other people who answered this question. Acers are ugly and their customer support is nonexistent. Hp's are two expensive and have little to offer.
I swear on all that is holy that this laptop will without a doubt satisfy you.
