Minecrafters, help needed?

Never have I ever kept a world in Minecraft. So as I was creating a new world today, I put it on creative and turned off cheats and the other thingy that stops villages, dungeons, etc.

When I clicked "Create World" it went onto the loading screen, and just stopped on Converting World. I have been angrily attempting to resolve this issue for the past 40 minutes, and I'm getting extremely frustrated. It won't close, either. So I have shut down, logged on and off, and jumped on my computer about 4 times. Each.

Please help me before I punch a hole into my computer screen irritation.

There are many reasons this can be occurring, One of them is you could be using a resource pack with high resolution or maybe small resolution that will not support your computer, usually causing in it to crash and not load up, shaders is the same way. Another reason is your minecraft files could be corrupted, id suggest you check all the files see if they're in tact by typing in %appdata% and clicking on.minecraft. Also your minecraft settings may be too high cause it to not load because there's so much chunks loading and if your computer can't support it with the video settings it self it will lead to crashing. Another reason could be if you're overclocking, I have encountered this problem many times if I overclock my settings to high and try to load a progam resulting in a crash. It could also be that you need to update your java programs, that could also be a problem, always the best choice to keep your drivers/programs updated, if none of those work id suggest backing up your save files and re-installing minecraft, best of luck!
