This might not be the right place to ask this, but I thought I would try. Inside of my thaumonomicon the Thaumium Wand Caps is still gray and says " Missing research required! " Also the Silverwood Wand Cores is gray and says the same thing also. I already have the Gold Banded Greatwood Wand, and need to get a stronger wand for node bottling. Am I doing something wrong? If so please tell me. Do I need to do more stuff with the crucible? If so what do I need to do?!

You need to scan some things. In 4.1 some research is locked until you scan something related to that research.
I suspect with the Silverwood Wand Core you need to scan something related to the silverwood tree. Remember it has wood, leaves, planks, and saplings. Also consider scanning a greatwood core before making it into a wand.
My understanding is that you have to scan something with Metalium in it to unlock thaumium caps, try scanning a piece of actual thaumium. Also consider scanning wand caps before attaching them to a wand.
