I've downloaded Optifine for both 1.7.10 and 1.8.4 and neither of them seem to work or even appear on the launcher. I have installed them correctly but they just don't show up, can I get help? I've tried to uninstall the game, yet nothing seems to work.

Make sure you get the optifine version that corresponds to the game version.
