You can try reinstalling minecraft or reversing the update process.

To reverse the update process "swipe the screen to the right" then click on Settings thenclick on Control Panel. Type 'recovery' in the search bar then click on recovery then Click on Open System Restore. Select the appropriate date where your computer was working fine and start System Restore.
