I just got a new laptop and trying to play, and I'm trying to make a crafting table but when I pick up the wood from my inventory I can't add four pieces of wood into the crafting section because it won't allow me to drop one in each slot, why?
Minecraft I can't pick up one or two blocks from a stack at a time why?

I assume you've clicked to pick up the stack then right-clicked to drop one at a time in whatever empty spot your trying to use? If not, try it. If so, then I have no clue.

Try right clicking while holding the stack over the desired section

You have to click the power button on the laptop and go outside, find some party, have fun, then come back and go to sleep… Then do something else fun in the morning… Then forget about minecraft.
