I've been having some problems while playing minecraft, There's a gaping black hole near the front of my house and another not too far in the swamp biome. I've tried resetting my computer, reloading the map, but still no success with getting rid of the black hole.
i have a link below, and help would be much appreciated! (i've come really far in Minecraft and I don't feel ready to delete my game!)
There maybe something wrong with the.minecraft folder. I recommend backing up your world save and place it somewhere safe. Then delete the.minecraft folder, and restarting Minecraft to get a fresh.minecraft folder. To get the to folder open up the start button and in the search bar type %appdata%.
Create a new world and run around for a bit and see if the same thing happens. Black spots that move around or keep happening on new worlds usually indicate an old and/or under powered video card. Static black holes mean your world is corrupted and should probably be abandoned.
