Minecraft Creative Mode Grabing Blocks?

I saw a youtuber point his mouse at some block and that block appeared in his hand. How?

It's a feature that was added in Minecraft in one of the previous updates, it allows people in Creative Mode to pick up a block they are looking at, in a certain range, using the middle mouse button(scroll wheel).
