Men: why did you choose your wife/spouse /s.o. Over anyone else?

That was interested in you?

Because they weren't him. Simple as that

My wife is a Christian but she actually was living that life, volunteering in various places, cancer wards, drug addicted kids, and giving her money and time to so many causes. She never spoke poorly of anyone, was idealistic and optimistic. Her mantra is "Everything has solutions". So many people, including me, were just luke-warm kinda half-believing and not doing anything significant for anyone else. My wife's actions actions convicted me, motivated me. There were other girls in my life at that time, but I totally admired her. I wanted to be like her and with her. We met in San Diego and married in 2001. It'll be 14 years this January. What I brought to the marriage was I was very outgoing and social. I had been a professional musician so was used to meeting and dealing with a lot of people. Also, I genuinely like people where she was a lot more reserve and introverted. We've adapted each others personalities over the years and for the first part of the marriage it was very much a her and I vs the world vibe… Now we have a 5 year old daughter and focus dramatically shifts after having a child. The child comes first. As I write this, and reply to my emails for the week, my kid is beside me playing minecraft. Precious time, and this kid is super outgoing. We're both aware that best case scenario she'll grow up, go off to school, get married, and it'll just be us… Old and gray with a lifetime full of memories. That whole circle of life thing.Men: why did you choose your wife spouse s.o. Over anyone else - 1

She tricked me into it like the others she married.
