Looks for an addictive PC game?

If you don't want to read the rest- just list the most addictive pc game youve ever played! Other info below:

New computer, so I can run anything. So far the best games I've ever played:

Heroes of might and magic 3 & Fallout3/NV
I thoroughly enjoyed minecraft and way very impressed with state of decay.

Looking for something
-single player
-I like freedom, I like collecting/hoarding items/surviving.
-preferably open world or survival possibly sim
-not in beta/alpha

I have been playing Dota for 2 years, and Dota 2 for a year. I think you should try it, It's the most popular game on Steam at the moment. I play it daily for like 5+ hours it is the most best game I have ever played in my whole entire life.
There are also international tournaments about this game (once a year) and thee prize money is around 5million dollars!
And in the middle of the year there are some small tournaments that happens.
