I'm looking to buy a laptop for school, i really like the pricing on the Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 but i've heard that the battery life kinda sucks. If anyone owns one of these laptops please respond because i'm curious to know what the battery life would actually be if i were just typing a word document, browsing the web and playing games like minecraft and skyrim.

I'm using this laptop since August 2013. I have managed the battery backup on an average 3 Hours for normal use. But if I play games then it hardly stands for an hour max. Last month I put a SSD in it. Since then the normal use bumps up to around 5 hours. Also the processing of everything became lightning faster.
