I'm thinking of buying the cyberpowerpc gua black gamer ultra walmart special soon. I was wondering if it could run something like skyrim and if not tell me what upgrades to get! Btw i'm not going to be playing pc skyrim i just need the parts to play it so i can run games! My current lagtop runs minecraft all low settings at 5 fps and my friend likes to play games like blacklight retribution and apb reloaded thanks for the help!
Is this good for my kind of gaming?
I've heard some awful reviews about cyberpowerpc and ibuypower. Supposedly they are the same company. But if thats your choice, it looks like it will run skyrim fine. I have a gtx 660 GPU and it runs skyrim maxed out with graphical and other mods. Around 50-60 total mods i believe.
Compare these specs against what the machines in your area have.
Skyrim Specs: (Video Graphics is where most machines fail the test)
Recommended
-Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
-Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU processor
-4GB System RAM
-6GB free HDD (Hard disk drive) space
-DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon HD 4890 or higher
-DirectX compatible sound card
-Internet access for Steam activation
There are different versions of the cyberpowerpc gua and I don't know which one you're talking about ( I tried looking for the special but I'm not sure which one of the three was it). The cyberpowerpc that I saw could play Skyrim. It was GUA250, 450, 430. I'd suggest going to game-debate.com to see if your pc could run it.
