Is the such a thing as forever burning fire on Minecraft?

In Minecraft I have a fireplace and I was wondering if there was forever burning fire? That way I could have a nice cozy fire for all the night instead of 1 and 1\2 minutes!

Added (1). I tried the nether rack. I SET MY HOUSE ON FIRE! Next time I need to get rid of those slabs…

Added (2). NO! MY HOUSE IS BURNT AND IT TOOK ME WEEKS TO BUILD IT AND NOW ITS A LAKE.

Netherrack is the only material that can burn forever… Its EVERYWHERE in the nether… Just light it on fire and you're good

Go to the nether and mine some netherack (the main, reddish colored block that forms most of the nether). Bring it back, light it and it will burn forever!

Get some nether rack. It burns forever and its everywhere in the nether.
