Is the Acer Aspire V5-552P-X404 good for multiple tasks at once?

I'm thinking of purchasing the Acer Aspire V5-552P-X404 and I'm obviously not very knowing, computer-wise, but I read that it was a well-functioning computer. I know just enough to understand RAM, etc.
I wouldn't use this computer for high-end gaming, but more for Minecraft and maybe the Sims 3-4 (just maybe). I usually just write documents for school, and usually download applications while internet surfing, etc. So basically I queue up a lot of things and do a lot at a time.
Is this computer sufficient? I would like a computer that doesn't lag while I work and won't crash like my current computer does.

Although I'm not an Acer fan, the configuration is more than enough for your needs.

Go for it.

Two things to check before you purchase-

1>Make sure the computer has a metal body. Plastic laptops are very easily damaged.

2>Make sure the laptop has an indicator LED for hard disk activity. Some modern laptops do away with this indicator. And people who purchase these laptops claim it's not necessary to have this indicator. But i really feel these people are just trying to justify the purchase- the HDD LED is priceless in certain situations. Sure you don't need it in everyday use, but there are times you'll miss this small $2 indicator if it's not present. (If not sure, ask acer technical support if this indicator is present in the model# you picked).
