Minecraft is a prominent candidate for the end-all-be-all of video games. There isn't much else that compares to the insane amount of attention and popularity that game has had. There are more copies sold than people living in Russia.

Minecraft is educational because it enhances creativity, problem-solving, self-direction, collaboration, and other life skills. In the classroom, Minecraft complements reading, writing, math, and even history learnings… Both fun and educational, Minecraft is easily on our list of best video games for kids.

It's is generally respected around the world due to it's simplicity
