Is it possible to make a game like GTA5 or even Minecraft in Python?

I would like to know if you can make huge multi player games in a language such a python and lua. Not just languages like Java/C++.

It's entirely possible, although the game won't be exactly the same and it is a lot different of an experience working in Python than in other languages.
