Internet is fine but won't connect to any games?

Hi! My internet connection is totally fine and everything is fine on my laptop EXCEPT I can't connect (login) into ANY games (steam, league, minecraft, etc.)
Please help, I have norton security system, it says i have a virus or a treat and I ran a full system scan but nothing got fixed still got the warning

You might update Java and flash player.

Maybe it your firewall blocking the internet going in to games that you trying to play
if not try to disconnect your internet for 2 mins then connect again if not work try to restart your computer. If not work then i'm not sure what.
