Well i bought the chromebook thinking i could play minecraft but it says i can't. Is there anyway i can get minecraft on it and or will there be an update that would allow us to get minecraft on the chrome book? And if there's when will this update be out?

Nope. Wrong computer for gaming, It basically is a browser. Don't try to convert it, or you'll be very unhappy with the result.
