I recently collected 8 to 9 diamonds 2 saddles 10 gunpowder and 2 stacks of iron some gold and redstone but went to all 7 caves and they are empty and everytime i hunt they are lost even my wolfs this is frustrating any help?

When you find the good stuff like that, STORE IT if you don't plan to use it right then and there.
Would be a real shame if a splody boi caused you to lose a stack of all that.

Never keep valuables like that on you. As soon as you're done mining, go back home and store them. Wondering around with valuables is a terrible habit to have
