I have a Samsung series 3 14" notebook, with Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit), Intel® Core™ i3-2350M Processor, speed of 2.3 GHz, CPU Cache of 3MB, RAM of 4 GB, memory type is DDR3, 500 GB harddrive, storeage tech or 5400 rpm, Intel® HD Graphics 3000, integrated, mgm is shared. But the this is, it won't play the simplest games (like Minecraft) without a truck load of lag to come with it. And I changed all my settings to factory settings, and I still get lag. Does anyone know how to make it perform better without all the lag. Something that doesn't require alot of money to be put in it.
I have a Samsung notebook, how do I make it faster?

The specs are pretty good for a laptop.
to speed the clutter up with
1.) uninstall unused programs. They take up space and memory.
2.)go on "msconfig" and turn of startup apps you don't use. Make sure you don't untick thigs you don't know about.
3.) shut start up apps you could not untick when you start up that you do not use.
4.) install ccleaner run it. This will clear up the clutter in system files. Don't worry it is safe.
5.) lower mincreaft settings fast instead of fancy etc
6.)restart and test. If nothing works you may have a virus so reinstall windows. Back up files first.
other than this nothing you can do. The specs look like they sould be able to run minecraft as it is Cpu intensive so the i3 should be able to cope.
