I have a Mobile Intel i7 CPU that does not meet my performance needs. How can I overclock it?

I have an Intel Core i7-3537U Mobile processor, and when playing games, even such simple games as Minecraft and livestreaming, I will have unbearable lagging issues. This is a 3rd generation processor that I purchased with a Samsung ATIV Book 4 laptop in late 2013. Please help me overclock it so that I can have better performance. Even really simple things, such as browsing the web with Google Chrome can be an issue.

Your issue is highly unlikely to be the CPU.
They are not designed for overclocking in a laptop, and doing so will usually cause overheating and throttling and give you worse performance instead of better performance.
Your issue is usually the internet connection in live streaming, especially if uploading anything.

1) Do you have 8GB RAM?
2) Do you connect via ethernet and with the AC plugged in?
3) Do you have unnecessary software running. Often anti-virus will slow you down. Try either Iobit Game Booster or Razer Cortex as packaged now with other software. They are easy to find by google.
4) Your graphics processor is Intel HD 4000. You do not get much out of that and it is not changeable.
5) Both the CPU and Graphics have turbo modes that do work over short periods of time until temperatures go too high. Try cleaning dust.

There's overclocking software available that raises the voltage into the CPU, but I feel morally obligated NOT to point you at it, because odds of ruining your laptop are too high and I don't want to feel responsible for it.
