I'm trying to record minecraft to start my own youtube channel but i've tried Camtasia8, Bandicam and Fraps but they either made me lag too much or didn't work so i was wondering is there a free app out there that will not make my minecraft lag and is easy to use? If you know one please tell me.

No there's not. The reality is that recording will lag your computer if you have a bad one hands down. There's nothing you can do to fix it unless you want to build yourself a better pc for 400 dollars or buy a capture card for ~100 so it won't lag
