I'm currently trying to make a resource pack and trying to find the png that shows all the painting, however i can't find it in my.minecraft file. Does anyone know where to find it or know where i can get it?
I can't find the paintings image for minecraft 1.7.9?

Go into your.minecraft folder and go to versions. If you have not ran minecraft in 1.7.9 do so and then click on the 1.7.9 folder, right click on the jar file and open it, preferably with winRAR (if you don't have winrar install it for free). In the winrar interface you will see a folder named assets, go into that and then > minecraft > textures > painting
there you will find a PNG file with all of the painting textures.
