How to turn on the hearts for tamed animals minecraft?

I was watching StacySays on youtube play minecraft and when she tames animals she doesn't see the heart particles but everyone else does how can she fix it

Are you sure she is taming the animals the right way?

You have to use the right food to get animated hearts, Meat for the dogs, wheat for chickens ect, if its PC Minecraft one of the textures may have messed up try re-install it

It might be because she has particles on minimum in the video settings. That's only if the animals are getting tamed, if they aren't then look up how to tame animals.
