How to screen share a video game using skype?

First off, you're using the wrong programs and the like for this, as Skype isn't meant to stream game footage.

Secondly, if you're still adamant about this, put your game into windowed or borderless mode. This makes it confined to the desktop, which Skype would be able to see. Skype can only screen share what you're able to see on your desktop. Playing a game in full screen mode disables the desktop during gameplay, so even if you screen shared they'd only look at your desktop and your background and other program shortcuts you have.

This isn't the case in certain games. An example is Minecraft, which (by default) loads up into windowed mode. But to be honest, you should just live-stream the game over Twitch or something, making a Twitch.tv account is free and easy, and you can use the program OBS to stream and record gameplay (its a free, open source program) though it would have about a 1 to 3 minute delay (twitch sets a one minute delay, the user can choose to increase the delay on the recording software).
