I'm new, never played Minecraft before. I just registered on minecraft.net, after I verified my email, the link goes to a page where I need to choose a username and pay to download the minecraft. Is this the correct way? I want to play the hunger games version with other people!
I'm a mac user btw.

Yes! Choose a username and buy the game and then download the game (make sure you've used an email address you can access) and then open the game after its downloaded, click play, and wait for it to open then go multiplayer and click "Add Server" and do the server name as anything but in the tab below put in a server ip. Like Minetime.com or Mineplex.com (two popular servers) and both of those have Hunger Games! So hope you found my instructions easy!
