How to get no lag in minecraft latest update with slow computer?

I got a slow running computer still works but slow and i wanted to play minecraft but it lags a lot and i got latest update and i want to the best setting i'm getting very low fps like between 1-8 even if I try lots of settings that I get on youtube and google basically everywhere I go it doesn't work I want to reduce the lag help please it will make me less annoyed.

I get this problem a lot since my computer is from 2006. What helps is turning openGL on and server textures off. Also, graphics to fast. There should be another setting similar to openGL that many people don't know what it is, it starts with a, turn that off. Hope this helps.

Use a good computer and have fast settings and most graphics on low for MINIMAL lag, not no lag. Minecraft lags a suprising lot for a pixelated game.
