Every time i try it will give me a floder that has pictures of things in the pack, i have been trying to use the packs from planet minecraft i want the candyland one really bad, please someone help!

They are resource packs, you download the zip folder, then put them into %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks
then chose it in minecraft.
