How can I change my name safely, in MINECRAFT?
Added (1). Now, if I change my name I would be able to play with my brothers on multiplayer, but sadly I can't because we all have the same! My mom just used my java and mojang to the other computers or something, so that we wouldn't pay more stinking money. Now if changing my name cost money, I will not accept! Whoever helps me change my name, will get a big fat 10 points!
You can't currently, but Mojang plans to allow players to change their names in the future (May cost money, may not).
As of right now you can't. However, Mojang has stated that they are going to add a name change feature to the minecraft website when enough people update their game to 1.8 when that version comes out. You are just going to have to wait until they add this feature. Changing your name using this will be free of cost, but you can only do so a limited number of times. MOjang also said that this shouldn't affect servers or any benefits on servers (such as Ultra on mineplex)
I have heard of these news! But for some reason I think there going to lie to us, and then we won't be able to change are name ( which can be important to enjoy minecraft)
