I would like to get a computer that will run minecraft and I read that with these requirements it will run better
CPU: Intel Core i3 or AMD Athlon II (K10) 2.8 GHz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: GeForce 2xx Series or AMD Radeon HD 5xxx Series (Excluding Integrated Chipsets) with OpenGL 3.3
HDD: 1GB
Latest release of Java 7 from java.com

Building one yourself would cost you 300-400 dollars,
Buying one is 500-600 now a days.
Look up how to build one, its more cost efficient and faster in terms of speed.
Minecraft is not a graphic heavy game so you can build a pc for 300 dollars and run it really smoothly.
