Is the game free to play? What website do i go to find it? Do i keep it after 1 time purchase? I've liked minecraft from the youtube video's but i want to play it myself too. Can anyone help me out?

The game is not free, it's about $30 for both pc and console versions, but once you own the game, you have it for good. You don't need to pay any monthly fees and any future updates to the game are a free download.
