How do I tame a horse in minecraft?

Make sure you aren't carrying anything in your hands, go up to the horse and get on the horse (look under inventory bar, it will tell you what to press to tame.)

It may take several attempts to fully tame it. You get on the horse and it will likely ptotest a bit then throw you off. Just repeat this till you see hearts and that is it, horse tamed.

Step 1: Materials. You will need: Apples.
Step 2: How to Tame the Horse. Feed the horse until it has hearts coming out of it.
Step 3: How to Mount the Horse. To ride the horse, right click it, then press E then drag the saddle to the saddle slot.

Make sure you have an open hand with nothing in it. Right click will get you on the horse. You will probably have to do this several times as the horse will buck you off, and you do this until heart signs pop up on the horse's back. Make sure you have a saddle ready tho, otherwise you can't control the horse.
