How come Minecraft Forge won't open for me?

I don't really quite understand your situation, but check the following: the version of Forge you installed is compatible with the current version of Minecraft and that you are absolutely sure it's not the mods (if you have any installed) that are causing problems.

If not, you can try a manual install. I assume you have run the Forge installer at least once and run Minecraft at least once afterwards. Go to "My Computer" and in the address bar type in %appdata%. Go into the.minecraft folder -> versions and you should see a folder that says 1.7.1-Forge. Create another new folder in the versions folder and rename it to whatever you want. Copy the files from the 1.7.1-Forge folder, paste it into your new folder and rename the two files to EXACTLY what you renamed your new folder. Open the.json file with Notepad and look for a line that says "id". Rename the 1.7.1-Forge to whatever you renamed your folder. Save and close it. Run the Minecraft launcher. Create a new profile and under the option that says "Use version", select the version that says "release <name of new folder you created>". Save and run Minecraft with this new profile. It should work.
