Free recording software for mac?

I have a macbook pro and i would like to record my minecraft game plays for my youtube channel. I would also like to be able to put them into imovie so i can edit my recordings. I tried screen flick, but the only problem with that is that i could not figure out how to put my recordings in iMovie.
