Did Minecraft Have Chairs?

There kinda is chairs, but not really. To make a 'chair' you need a oak wood stair and two signs. Place the stair whatever and add the signs to the sides. Now you have a 'chair' but sitable chairs has never been in minecraft as far as i know

Not in vanilla Minecraft, no. You can make something that looks like one, like TBK described, but there's no craftable "chair" item, nor was there ever.

Honest to goodness chairs you can sit in have never been a thing in Minecraft.

There are quite a few ways to fake up a "chair" for decoration purposes, mostly using signs, stairs, and half slabs but no actual chair.

There are *several* mods that add them to the PC versions however.
