Cursor won't move when pressing arrow keys?

I had this exact problem with my computer when I first got it. Go to control panel-hardware and sound-under devices and printers go to mouse. Next a box should pop up. Go to the device settings tab. Then the settings button. It will have bunch of options when the little cross on pointing double click the palm check button and set it to the lowest setting. This worked for me so hopefully it will work for you!
