Today when I was in the Nether heading towards my fort, a Ghast spawned right in front of me over land. I was like "really?".

I was mining Diamond and gold, and there was a huge hole. I jumped down, and landed safely, found more Diamond, mined it, then all of a sudden, I died (I'm guessing from that fall?!) it was such a late reaction or something. I had had full health, too. XD
