Could life be a game? Literally?

I will explain this as simple as possible and i hope it makes sense. Smart people will understand my point. I hope i get my logic accros.

1. There's no way to prove that we're or aren't living in a simulation. (death?)

2. There isn't much difference between real life and GTA (other than the ridicolous thinks you're able to do in the video game GTA)

3. Therefore, life could be a game but we're restricted by laws and rules for obvious reasons, to survive and live together as the human species. It's possible to use dimensions and perception to prove it too (try going outside and focusing on a tree while walking towards it or sideways, proving the 1st person view point we have).

4. You would be your own character (yourself). You would have skills (intelligence for students/school/work, agility for sports/athletes for instance, charisma for talking, exchange etc)

5. In this game called life you would just be human living on Earth. Just like in GTA.

6. Society and the world would basically be exactly the same lol so even knowing that life is a game wouldnt temporary change anything.

7. Real life has the same "game mechanics" as GTA as well, interactions with other humans (concept of society). Money in exchange for goods (concept of money). Difficult situations (concept of life).

Regarding the choice of GTA as a comparison, it is the most realistic game i could actually compare real life with. Minecraft was a 2nd choice. Please be rational and open to this idea.

Added (1). I'm just a 19 year old guy exploring fun thoughts i've been thinking about. So don't think that i actually believe that we're living in a game.

Added (2). To avoid confusion. Logic, Biology & Physics still apply. The idea behind this post was "what can humans gain from thinking or knowing that life is a game?" Not to live life like a video game.

Added (3). Here's an example: You're walking in a straight line. You take a turn around a corner. Once you pass the corner a random car is driving on the road. From your perspective it would be impossible to prove that that car didn't spawn while you were taking the right turn. How do you know it was there from before?

No. Here's the proof: there's no "game over" with a chance to come back and try again. Once you're dead, you're dead. No second chances. No "new game". Injuries actually hurt. Bodies actually decay. Friends actually die. Games are easy, life is hard.

No

If its a broken game, yes.

If we're in a simulation then that simulation could be inside another simulation inside another simulation inside another simulation inside another simulation…

and Neo was not The One, Smith was
and Neo simply unplugged and achieved power from within the second simulation
i must make a phone call me

It is a currently ruthlessly competitive heirarchical societal structure, currently but a game… No.
Was it so, more people would be having more fun and wins.
Because life has aspects and multi - components, it would be east to imagine it as a game
. But too simplistic an assumption given the quantity of suffering in life's pathways.

No. It's more like a journey in which you have numerous things to figure out and get right, in order to find your path back to God, where you will be set free.

I'll answer as simply as possible: NO.

To expand on that, all simulations we have created ourselves are based on the same laws of nature (physics) that govern our "reality". One of many problems with the "simulation hypothesis" is that the energy required to simulate the entire universe in sufficient detail to be indistinguishable from reality would require as much energy as exists in our universe. That would defy the laws of physics. Likewise, if we're living in a simulation the same laws of physics would have to apply and the energy problem defies those laws. At some point the simulation hypothesis has to be grounded in real physics and supported by evidence that can be repeatedly and predictably tested against observation. No such scientific tests have been applied to the simulation idea which at this point is no more than popular mythology. The idea of infinite realities has more credence within the scientific community than the simulation hypothesis does.

Nah. I've thought about this too and how maybe someone could be controlling me and all but no. In a game. Someone has to program every single thing. Even the dialogue. Do you feel someone pushes you constantly to say something specifically? Probably not. You can answer in whichever way YOU choose to respond back. You can choose what to do in your life, period. We have free will. Be realistic about this world though. There are laws and physiques that apply in this world that don't always apply to video games. Don't let others try to confuse you and twist up things about reality but if you do then that'll be your problem to face and overcome.

It's a game because nothing dies, but there are consequences to being unethical, and you'll suffer if you don't toe the line of survival for yourself and others.

Yes.
