So every time I download a new game and go to play it, it crashes. When I say crashes, I mean it just shuts off and doesn't restart or blue screen. This happens when I try to play games like WoW, Tera, Diablo, and even counter strike and it's odd because League of legends and minecraft run just fine. Not to mention I used to be able to run all these games without any problems. I know there could be multiple problems but I don't know where to start looking.

Something might be overheating, or your power supply is dying, or there's too much voltage. I had the same problem and those were all my problems I faced. Hope that it helped

Try to avoid playing these games on your lap, and instead use a desk.
Maybe these games strain your computer more than the others- they may require better graphics etc, so maybe your computer struggles to play them- you may only have the minimum required stats. Try go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri and compare the games' required stats to see whether this is the issue.
Alternatively, maybe your computer doesn't have a lot of space?
I know that my laptop starts crashing and lagging if it has less than 100GB of space left on the C drive.
Make sure everything is updated (the game, video drivers, your operating system, etc.) Also, if you don't have hardware that is good enough, that could be a reason.
The problem might be your hard disk or your ram.
Try to put your power options to High Performance then
Put your performance to Adjust for Best Performance
Maybe you overload it how much gigs do you have on it fid you use too much gigs
You might not have enough RAM, a good enough processor, or a graphics card that doesn't meet up to the specifications for the games, since they are very resource demanding. If your laptop is hot to the touch, get a cooling pad.
