Cheap processor for gaming?

What's a good CPU to get for gaming? I'm looking toward something cheaper, around $150. I was looking at the AMD FX 8320 Black Edition ( the 8-core one, running at 3.5 GHz w/ turbo). Is there a different CPU that I should look into getting that would be good for gaming?

I'm looking at games such as Planetside 2, Minecraft, Counter Strike: GO, and others.

P.S. Any good GPU's?

If can save up a little more can get a amd fx 8350 which is good for gaming

The 8320 and 8350 are both good for gaming. The i3, i5 and i7's are also very good but more costly. With AMD you get the cost to performance ratio, but your trade off is high TDP and power consumption. I believe the 8350 is 220w which is insane compared to an Intel's 77w on Ivy Bridge. So keep in mind if you go with the 8320 and choose to OC it, youre going to want to invest in an aftermarket CPU cooler.

As for a GPU, I'm running GTX650Ti and can push most games like Skyrim, L4D2 and Civ5 maxed settings. Not suggesting this is what you want, but I find it to be a good reference point to go from. You may want a Radeon card. I hear alot of good things about Radeon R9's.

If you shop around you can get the FX 8320 a bit cheaper just depends where you look.
